who knew?

When we started Jam Tarts, who knew how busy we’d be with the “unseen” side of things? – editing photos, website stuff, admin, facebook stuff, marketing, sourcing materials, scouring the internet, packing and unpacking boxes, liaising with each other and market organisers and suppliers, coming up with hot new ideas all the time…!!! Not complaining, just saying. I’m still getting the balance right so that I don’t spend more time doing “other” stuff than actually crocheting and sewing. Some days I am reminded of when I was on maternity leave – I’d get so caught up with domestic/baby things, it would be 3.00pm before I’d manage to shower and change out of my pyjamas.

So – all I have time to show you today is this:

It means I love my life, and everyone who is in it.

And now I’m going to update our website.  Maybe you’ll have a look at it later?

To be continued…

Love all the things that you are doing and I’m so glad to hear that you are very busy. Now get off of here and let the hooks fly. :)

sounds like you need to hire a business manager, and soon, so that you can just let that creativity flow…from morning to noon, and then until nightime!

    1. Nice piece of work Post author

Goodness, you are very kind, thank you. It would be wonderful to think I inspire other people, because it’s other people who inspire me most of the time.
PS. My friend Pam, who also commented on this post, used to call me Jilly Bean. She was the only one who ever did. I gather you get called that a lot? :-)

Nice to meat another Jilly Bean. Yes, my little sister and her friends called me Jilly Bean while growing up. It was something fun to name my blog and my etsy. I was so impressed looking at your blog, Etsy, and website. It is obvious you put a lot of love into all you have done. It takes a lot of time to create and get as far as you have. I have been working so hard on mine and have so much further to go. I too enjoy creating and crafting things. I love to crochet. Many of your crochet items are spectacular!! Job well done!! I reposed your blog. Hopefully this will bring you more shoppers!

Oh I KNOW!! I get a bit nervous about the admin work that needs to be done for gentlestitches between now and the next lot of classes. I know I will do it but it is daunting sometimes. :) We are lucky we get to do what we love but OMG as you said “who knew?”
The heart is quite beautiful. Good luck with it all.
