flower frame

Looking for a quick and easy project when everything else you’ve been working on seems to be going seriously wrong or you lose interest or is clearly not viable or the cat vomits hairballs on it? Yes, I was, too.

Take a plain wooden frame. Paint it with white acrylic paint.

Crochet some flowers. (I got my pattern from Little Birdie Secrets, they also have other lovely stuff).  Stick the flowers on the frame (by the time you’ve made enough, the paint will be dry).

Insert photo.  Take a pic. Show and tell.  Feel sense of achievement. Acknowledge that this project is very similar to the recent wreath thingie, but perhaps no-one will mind?

    1. Nice piece of work

I don’t know about cute! On the left: Lee (my stepdad), Didi (my mother) and Alex at 18 months (okay, she was a BIT cute then). On the right, Alex in primary school, and the little boy in the flower frame??? – no flipping idea! I had to look for a pic so I could post this thing, and found some old photos in an old album. Who keeps albums any more!? I have a feeling that this was taken at a baby shower, maybe 18 or 20 years ago, someone presumably brought their little boy along and for some reason I took his pic and had it printed and now – he’s FAMOUS!

The photo frame is great. It is a clever idea. I am thinking crocheted bones for dog photo?
Love the way we give each other ideas! Thanks for posting. :)
