With all the rush of the past weekend, I didn’t have a chance to make all the booties I’d promised to send up to Jo’burg today for Katie, my stepsister, and three of her preggie pals. (TV offerings must have been particularly lousy about six months ago…)
So I stayed up late last night finishing these. Katie wanted beige, the others could be any colour.
I made them with this pattern by Hayley Missingham, free on Ravelry. I used a dk yarn and a 4mm hook so must have got a slightly different size to the originals, but I think these will be perfect over a pair of socks on tiny little feet.
Awww… there are going to be some beautifully shod bubs down your way very soon.
quick and easy to make, too.
Too cute!
Look very cosy!
My stepsister is having a boy, so I could get away with keeping them plain :-)
Adorable!
So cute, well done.
Those are super cute. I just might have to try that for my next niece or nephew.
Very useful pattern to keep, you can whip up a pair in less than an hour :-)
Best play on words. EVER.
Those are adorable ~ the procreators will love ’em!
Cheers
Rob’s the better word player between the two of us. My brain is starting to rot but I used to be pretty good :(
Oh sorry — did you think you were going to get something more along the lines of 50 shades of middle-age?
So sweet, you just can’t beat baby booties.
True. Always a winner :-)
Hahaha, cute title!
:-)
So, totally cute! Love those lil booties!
There are few things cuter than little baby booties! (The baby may be cuter. :) )
I hope so, for Katie’s sake. Some of them stay kind of scrunchy for a while but I’m hoping there are some cute genes on her side of the family :-)
Soooo cute!
