by the skin of my teeth

How I do things. Don’t seem to be able to change. This calendar on the wall to the left of my desk freaks me out every time I look at it and yet…I’m still nowhere close to reaching the production targets I’d set for myself. And as you can see, December is about to hit me like a wrecking ball. (If I looked like Miley Cyrus, I probably wouldn’t mind so much.)

Anyway, right now I’m doing the best I can with what I’ve got – the last few weeks have brought some very unpleasant personal challenges, but the worst of them appears to be over so I can get focused again. Did you hear that, universe????? Good. Now please ignore me until the other side of December. Thank you in advance.

Thanks! The universe has indeed been smiling on me. When there’s a shadow, it tends to be me that’s got in the way of the sun! All good today, can feel the productivity about to break out :)

Does the universe not realise that people need to prioritise creativity not sorting out difficult personal situations? Hopefully your hands will fly, and you will have a very successful festive season. If I have a spare hour, I’ll post it to you!

Thank you! Took time out to have dinner with friends last night, it did me a lot of good – although the food preparation was stressful (more later) – and told them about your cheese-making activities. This led to a discussion of the various kinds of milk available – here and in Wales, whether there were more cows than sheep and goats over there, and then which of us had actually been to Wales…:)

I so know what you are speaking of! Someone made the hole bigger in the sands of time clock. And now company for 3 weeks. i feel like a guillotine is about to fall as my production falls further and further behind. Good luck with it all. Glad some things have been resolved for you though.

Where does the time go? And why don’t I ever learn that it takes longer to do things than I ever anticipate? But I’m taking all the cheerleading from all the comments on this post, and believe THAT ALL WILL BE WELL.
PS. DId you say company for 3 weeks? yoh!!!!!!!

Yes, son for 2, then joined by his significant other for the last week. She must do Thanksgiving for her parents before joining him here for his 50th birthday. We are having pizza for Thanksgiving and I will be thankful for not cooking a huge meal. :)

You did, thank you. Schedule completely abandoned in favour of mental equilibrium and physical necessity. I’m focusing on what I have accomplished instead of what I haven’t. I will still become rich and famous – it just won’t be this year hahahahahaha xxx
