Friday. Official Office Sort-Out Day. The ‘before’ state of things:
Yes, it really was that bad. What I have achieved after two days is not 100% yet but it’s a damn good start – considering that I also fitted in a long coffee-break with a friend, a dinner and theatre date last night, packing the car for tomorrow’s market, and getting a large order ready for a new supplier yesterday on about one hour’s notice. And the temperature was in the mid-30s — nearly %#@* killed me…but boy oh boy, did I sleep like a baby!
I am giving myself a big pat on the back right now. Sorting and tidying will recommence on Sunday, all being well.
Happy weekend, everyone :)
That is a seriously impressive result for what was an impressive, um, heap! Especially as you’ve actually sorted things out rather than just randomly shoved things into boxes. A large pat on the back, and I prescribe a healthy dose of the by-products of fermentation.
Funny you should say that – cheers!
Good job, Jill!!!
I’m sure it feels so much better too, walking into the space. Congrats on a job well done or at least begun.
It does feel better.
I MUST KEEP THINGS TIDY
I MUST KEEP THINGS TIDY
I MUST KEEP THINGS TIDY…
:)) I say that all the time too.
Organizing is never easy, it looks like you got a ton done. I love walking into a room after I have organized and gotten rid of things. It is like Christmas all over again when I know where everything is and I come across things I thought I lost.
Funny you should say that – I found LOADS of things I’d forgotten about, including clothes, so it felt like a birthday :)
Impressive, Jill, especially doing all that sorting on such hot days. We have been home just over a week and maybe you have given me inspiration to start unpacking my baskets of clothes from my month in CT.
It’s the sort of thing I wouldn’t do, Gail, until I’d been home at least 6 weeks. There’s no changing my bad habits at my age….. :(
Well done you! I’ve been sorting out the limery and have found some impressively large spiders, I hope that you have been spared any of those! Hope the market is successful and the orders come rolling in.
More orders than sales, but I can live with that. No spiders. So far.
May your life be full of sales and have a complete absence of spiders!
I’m impressed! I spent 2 days on my little box room and didn’t make anywhere near this much progress!!
